a).It is mainly used as fixing agent in photography industry.
b).It is used as reducing agent of dichromate in tanning, neutralizer of nitrogen-containing tail gas, mordant, bleach of wheat straw and wool, and dechlorination agent in pulp bleaching. It is also used in the manufacture of tetraethyl lead, dye intermediates and silver extraction from ore,etc.
